This ministry is a Christ centered ministry. Anyone who desires to be a part of this ministry needs to demonstrate through their life style, by interviews, and references, that they are a practicing Christian. A practicing Christian is a person who has faith in, and obeys Jesus Christ, and has a personal relationship with Him as described and recorded in the Holy Bible. A potential director would be a person that would be comfortable and unafraid to help offenders/ex-offenders through Open Door Ministries in the achievement of its purposes. The board director-elect will be given opportunities to maintain, improve, develop, change and expand the ministry in positive ways as set forth by biblical principles through Divine guidance.
Directors do not receive any salary or compensation for their service as directors.
